'Country Punks' from South Wales

Bleedin' Noses are a six piece band from Blackwood, South Wales; comprising of  Oliver Ashton, Paul Julian, Kevin Meyrick, Darren Lewis, Leonard Molyneux, and Lee Louie Williams. They combine acoustic & electric guitars, banjos & mandolins, drums, bass & double bass, keyboards & accordion to create their unique sound. They have come to describe themselves as "Country Punks", drawing influence from Folk, Country, Punk Rock and the Blues.

Having released their debut album in 2012 to many rave reviews, they followed it up in 2015 with the release of “Even if your Voice Shakes". The Noses have since gone on to tour the UK extensively and have played many festivals including The Greenman, Larmer Tree and Glastonbury. Their live performances have gained them many prestigious accolades, which include; Larmer Tree Breakthrough Music Award Winner 2014, The Convent’s winner of “The Band 2104” and went on to win a slot to perform on the Godney Gathering’s main stage in 2015. They were also the support band for the Meat Puppets on their successful UK Tour in 2015.

After a short break, the band are back on the festival circuit, which started with a sensational set on the Chai Wallah’s stage at the Greenman, followed up by appearances at Stroud & The Big Cwtch.  

They are currently writing and recording a new album  and are looking forward to touring and appearing at several festivals in 2020.
