UK alt pop duo Son of Cabe take influence from 80s pop, electronic and indie music to fuse their own unique sonic blend. Originating as a solo project by Gloucestershire born songwriter/producer Conor McCabe, but completed when he met drummer and co-writer Jack Holland at university in Guildford. They cut their teeth performing at pubs and clubs in and around London and have since performed at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton and Lechlade Festival in 2022, as well as finding themselves as frequent features on BBC Introducing the South. Towards the end of 2022 they released their debut EP as a duo titled ‘Numb’, including the single ‘4am’ featuring Brooklyn based artist ÊMIA, which received support from BBC Introducing the South, Radio 1’s Jack Saunders and Spotify Editorial playlists.
