Part of the 70 strong national network of Military Wives' Choirs.

The Defence Academy Military Wives Choir (DAMWC) was set up by Musical Director, and wife of a serving British Army officer, Anna Vincent-Hill in January 2012 and is part of a network of over 70 MWCs across British Forces bases worldwide.  The choir membership is made up of a varied group of women associated with the military, including full-time mothers, serving military personnel and working professionals.

Some highlights for the DAMWC have included singing at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert; the Classic Brit Awards; on Strictly Come Dancing; the Queen’s Speech on Christmas Day and the West End production Soldier On.

Last year the choir joined with other MWCs to record the album ‘Remember’ to commemorate the end of the First World War. The choir also sings locally for community and charity initiatives and each year supports the Royal British Legion during the Remembrance period.
