“This Guys Music literally jumps from the speakers”- Tom Robinson BBC 6 Music

At 23 years old, Birmingham born Alex Rainsford is wasting no time in carving his path through the industry.  Playing tour support for acts such as Hudson Taylor, Dry The River and Brother & Bones; the past 2 years have seen Alex share stages with the likes of Bastille, Gabrielle Aplin & Willy Mason at festivals & venues all over Europe. His sound bridges the gap between delicate & destructive. Melodic tones infuse with the power of his lyrics taking listeners on a journey from the first beat to the last chord. This effect is only exaggerated when the songs are showcased in their natural environment - on stage, they breathe and grow into something else altogether. This formula has been refined & reimagined for his newest single, ‘Warning Shot’, which sets the bar high for what’s to follow. Swapping the acoustic for a slight change of tone. ‘Warning shot’ offers a stern, steady rhythm, kept in line by the spacious layers of pulsing percussion and electric guitars, paving the way for the songs lyrical sentiment.

There’s still some distance to travel but the road Alex is walking is paved with good vibes, great people & great songs.
‘Warning Shot’ is now available
