Born in Italy, Markhese has been passionate about dance music ever since he was a child. After studying at a music school in its prestigious Piano Division, he first worked as a promoter and DJ for Italian clubs for many years. After he earned a degree in Musical Event Production, he moved abroad to become a stage manager and artist assistant at international festivals. Finally, his true passion led him to become an international DJ and producer, sponsored by the London Sound Academy. Currently based in London (UK), defined as a next generation DJ/producer thanks to his energetic and unique style, his performances are set in a highly eclectic atmosphere where musical styles ranging from Progressive, Future and Bass House blend in a trendy and unique way, heating the dance floor.

2016 was an exciting year for Markhese. Highlights of the year were definitely playing in top 100 clubs in the world, his residency at Ministry of Sound London (supporting artists as Nicky Romero, Nervo, Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz), the summer tour with Cafe Mambo Ibiza with a peak at Ultra Europe, where he was headliner at the Ultra Worldwide Stage in Split. He finished the year in China, where he performed as guest in Beijing in top clubs Space One and Elements in November and back for the NYE 16/17, getting also a residency for the full month of January. The Asian tour in 2017 got him for the first time to Indonesia and Japan, where he performed at the prestigious Camelot Club in Shibuya, Tokyo.

He recently released 2 hit tracks, “Hope” was voted number 1 on week 50 - 2016 on the Spinnin Talent Chart on Electro House. “Venus reached top 7 in the world charts on Beatport Big Room Releases at the beginning of March and was supported and played by Fedde Le Grand, Yves V, Mike Williams and many more. Four new future house track will be released during the spring and ready to be played in all summer festivals.

Markhese currently runs the weekly podcast “Intense” in collaboration with the NY radio Morebass, the Canadian Club Tronica and the Italian Radio Fantasy, where he presents the best and newest dance music and always has international DJs joining for guest mixes.
